Breaking Into New Markets

Having had success working with a number of high-profile European banks, Signicat’s goal was to break into the UK market, so a new UK Business Development Director was brought into the team. The challenge was, Signicat needed more resources to aid their sales and marketing efforts and a strategy that was going to help them stand out in order to engage the right people.

Getting to Know You

Signicat was impressed by the proposition provided by Punch! with regards ABM and selected Punch! as its UK marketing partner. Punch! then made it their business to know Signicat’s. During the onboarding phase, a workshop took place in order for Punch! to understand Signicat’s ideal customer profile (ICP), research audience insights and understand the make-up of the buying committee. Punch! created messaging to resonate with target personas and developed a unique campaign using personalised video.

Punch! used sales intelligence tools to identify companies that were the right fit and had expressed buying intent. The key influencers and decision makers were identified and an ABM strategy that included personalised video, email and social was deployed.

Punch! has helped enable Signicat to build relationships with over 75% of Signicat’s top strategic target accounts which includes tier 1 and tier 2 banks in the UK and Ireland. Signicat has gone on to have face to face meetings with these accounts and as a result, are now considered as a well-known thought leader in the UK banking industry and financial technology space.
